GSpeech Brief: AI-Powered Key-Point Audio Summaries

Your article. Its key points. A shorter way to listen. Introducing GSpeech Brief: AI-powered audio summaries alongside the full article, with editable summary instructions, 1,200+ voices through AI Voice Hub, and translation into around 150 languages.

Brief is one part of GSpeech Room, our AI Audio Player. Choose a narrator in AI Voice Hub, offer another language with Real-time Translation, and explore how GSpeech Turbo prepares supported audio for playback.

Meet GSpeech Brief

GSpeech Brief is our new way to turn an article into a concise audio overview. AI prepares a shorter version around the article's key points, and the selected voice narrates it inside your GSpeech player.

Visitors can choose Full for the complete article or Brief for the shorter version. The original article stays intact, while readers gain another way to engage with it.

For a news report, an interview, or a detailed explanation, Brief offers a useful starting point before a listener decides to explore the complete story.

Integrate AI to Create Key-Point Brief Versions

Brief combines AI text generation with text-to-speech. The text model receives the article content supplied to the player and prepares a connected, condensed narrative. The voice model then turns that narrative into audio.

It is more than reading the first few paragraphs. The summary instructions guide the model to identify the central ideas across the supplied text and preserve important names, figures, attribution, and caveats.

The standard prompt asks for a coherent retelling designed for listening, using the source content rather than introducing external facts or unnecessary opening remarks. This keeps the focus on what the article actually says.

Full Article or Brief Overview: Let Readers Choose

Some readers want every detail. Others have a few minutes and want the main points. Full and Brief give both groups a listening option in the same player.

  • Full: follow the complete article from beginning to end.
  • Brief: hear a shorter overview built around its central ideas.

A publisher can offer a concise introduction to a long report, highlight the main themes of an interview, or give returning readers a way to revisit an explanation. Both versions remain connected to the original page.

You can try the Full and Brief controls on our GSpeech Turbo article.

Your Editorial Rules, Your Brief Prompt

Every publication has its own approach to presenting information. Brief lets publishers edit the main summary prompt, rather than relying only on a fixed instruction hidden behind the interface.

The dashboard displays the prompt being used and provides a Restore standard prompt control. Publishers can also choose a target length and a level of detail, from Key points to Balanced or More detail.

For example, if an article already contains a Key Points section, you can ask Brief to prioritize those points and use the article body for supporting context. An interview publisher can ask it to preserve the speaker's attribution while focusing on the main arguments.

These instructions guide the summary within source-fidelity requirements. Important numbers, uncertainty, and limitations should keep their meaning. Target listening time is a goal, not an exact duration; the finished length depends on the summary text and narration.

1,200+ Voices and Translation into Around 150 Languages

Brief is part of the same listening workflow as GSpeech AI Voice Hub, which brings together 1,200+ voices from Google Cloud, Gemini, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Inworld.

Choose a voice that fits your publication, then use it to narrate the concise version. The text model shapes the summary; the selected voice determines how it sounds.

You can also translate the Brief version, with translation support covering around 150 languages. This gives international visitors a way to hear the main points in another language without having to listen to the full article first.

Available voices and supported controls vary by language and model. Explore and compare the options in the GSpeech Voice Library.

Brief and Turbo: Shorter Content, Earlier Playback

Brief and Turbo address different parts of the listening experience. Brief prepares a shorter version of the content. Turbo coordinates audio generation and playback so listening can begin before the complete recording is ready.

GSpeech's own orchestration prepares audio in ordered sections, including with supported voice models that do not offer native audio streaming. The opening can become playable while later sections are still being generated.

For a new Brief recording, the summary text must first be prepared. Its narration then follows the supported audio-generation workflow. Existing matching recordings can be reused for later listeners.

Bring Brief to Your Website

Enable Brief in your website settings, review the summary prompt, choose the target length and detail, and select Full + Brief if you want to offer both versions.

Listen to the result on a representative article. Check names, figures, and editorial nuance, then refine the prompt to suit your content. Website defaults can provide a consistent approach, while widget settings can override supported options where needed.

With GSpeech Brief, AI becomes part of your publishing workflow: creating key-point summaries, translating them for a wider audience, and narrating them with a voice that fits your website.
